Estes Park Location

Hello from Estes Park! My name is Meg and I am currently in my internship working towards a Masters in Clinical Mental Health at Adams State University.  I have spent the last ten years working with children and adults through the lens of outdoor education and therapeutic recreation. I’m deeply passionate about the restorative power that the outdoors can have, which eventually led me to become a full-time resident of Estes Park in 2019.

I aspire to assist clients through life's challenging moments with a strength-based and humanistic approach. My strengths as a certified yoga instructor and mountain guide  help me use an integrative process that utilizes somatic and mindfulness modalities to promote self-exploration, awareness, and healing. I particularly am passionate about working with children and utilize play therapy techniques to promote genuine expression, and emotional wellness.

Estes Park is a unique town in that while it is considered an urban metropolitan area of the Front Range, mountain passes in all directions hinder access to resources. The Estes Park Crystal Creek Counseling branch aims to provide mental health resources to this incredibly special and resilient community.
