Welcome!

I (Taylor here) am soooo happy that you are interested in therapy services at the Longmont location! If you want a therapist who specializes in play therapy, you have come to the right place!

Attention to all prospective Longmont clients: Due to the high demand for child therapists in the area, after school time slots are reserved for current clients. New clients typically start in a morning or afternoon slot with the opportunity to move to an after school slot once one becomes available. Please email taylor@crystalcreekcounseling.com to inquire about our services.

Child and Adolescent Therapist
(she/her)

Hi, my name is Taylor! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT). I completed my Master's in Social Work from the University of Denver (2021) with a specialty in working with children and youth and a certificate in Animal-Assisted Social Work. I am both Animal-Assisted Play Therapy ® and  EMDR Trained. I began my career working with kids and teens about ten years ago in a variety of internships and field work. Now, I work alongside my trained therapy dog, Kya! Together, we love to help kiddos and parents when life gets challenging:

  • Parenting

  • Grief

  • Trauma

  • Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders

  • Neurodivergence: ADHD, ASD, OCD

  • Adoption and Foster Care

  • Divorce

I am passionate about helping clients create change in their lives and fostering resilience in our community. My specialties include working with children, adolescents, families, and young adults from a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.

My work is informed by developmental, systems, and attachment theories and integrates aspects of models like play therapy, EMDR, animal-assisted play therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. LGBTQ+ allied and neurodivergent affirming.

When I'm not helping my clients, I am baking, reading, quilting, playing with my dogs, and taking photos!
